In court, Judge Caprio hears it all as people fighting tickets for parking and traffic violations present their cases in hopes for a fair verdict. If their tickets and fines are totally scrapped, it’s good news! The judge always takes into account their circumstances.
But when a veteran came into his court and blamed his violation on a colleague, Judge Caprio was quite confused at first. The man explained that he recently started a new job, and that he was following a colleague in his own car. He claimed that the colleague was weaving in and out of lanes, speeding, and running red lights throughout their trip, and because he did not know how to get to the job, he was forced to follow behind and recklessly drive just like him.
The judge probed more into the situation, but one thing caught him off guard: the ticket the veteran received was for running one red light, but he just confessed to many more violations!
Judge Caprio, however, believed the nervous man and waived the entire amount he was fined. He also saw that his record was totally clean, which certainly helped his case.
Thankfully, the man was able to walk away without having to pay a penny.
What a kind judge! Do you think this was a fair verdict?
Please SHARE if you think all officials should be as considerate as Judge Caprio!
