School Nurse Sings Adele’s ‘Hello,’ But Her Version Is About Band-Aids And Lying Students

A school nurse from Mediapolis, Iowa, is getting national recognition for a recent video she created. The nurse, Kelli Peterson, who works for the entire Mediapolis School District, decided to do something special for National Nurses Week — something that fellow school nurses could relate to and that would channel her love of Adele.

So with the help of her principal, Kelli created a video that shows her version of Adele’s hit song, “Hello.”

While Adele’s song is about an emotional, broken relationship, Kelli’s video gives an in-depth look at what it is to be a school nurse, chronicling the trials and struggles that go alone with it.

Her parody of the song is absolutely hilarious!

In the video, keeping with the melody of Adele’s song, Kelli changes the lyrics to reflect the daily life of a nurse, including dealing with Band-Aids, students lying about feeling sick to get out of class, and something called the “Hershey-squirts.”

Any nurses reading this will undoubtedly relate!

In the video you’re about to watch, Kelli performs the song, and her 8-year-old daughter stars as a “sick” student as well.

Her husband provided the finishing touches, dubbing her lyrics over Adele’s music.

Make sure you watch this hilarious video until the end, and please SHARE it on Facebook!
