Vicky Sims of Australia is just another example of how powerful and resilient moms are! The fitness and boxing enthusiast is 39-years-old and owns a gym.
She’s also nine months pregnant, and up until her seventh month, she still had six-pack abs!
But it is through boxing in particular that Vicki discovered a way to overcome one of the most common drawbacks of being pregnant.
“When I was nauseous, I found exercising actually stopped the nausea,” Sims said, according to Caters News. “Fitness and good health is the world I live in. I just love the way it makes me feel.”
Indeed, boxing actually helped her cure her morning sickness!
In the video below, you will see Vicki, big belly out, in the ring training, and she isn’t skipping a beat!
“When you are pregnant there are so many restrictions and physical and emotional changes, which can be hard to adjust to, but exercise really helps [me] feel good,” she said. “Everyone is different, and what is good for me may not be good for you.”
Vicky is expecting a boy, and we won’t be surprised if he ends up growing up with a fondness for boxing!
