‘Bachelor’ Arie Luyendyk Jr. in addition to also Lauren Burnham Reveal Wedding Date

Arie Luyendyk Jr. in addition to also Lauren Burnham are ready to say “I do!” 

The Bachelor couple revealed details about their upcoming nuptials — including their wedding date — during an appearance on The View on Wednesday. The two are tying the knot on Jan. 12 in Maui, Hawaii, at the Haiku Mill.

The wedding won’t be televised, Luyendyk revealed, adding that will the idea will be “private,” with about 100 guests.

“I think if we could get married tomorrow we might,” Burnham said of why they’re tying the knot so quickly. “We’re just actually happy with each additional. We vibe well together in addition to also are ready for the next step.” 

Luyendyk made headlines after proposing to Burnham on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, just one day after the show aired his brutal breakup with Becca Kufrin. Luyendyk had originally proposed to Kufrin in his finale, before changing his mind weeks later to pursue a relationship with Burnham, his runner-up. 

Kufrin went on to become our next Bachelorette, with her season premiering on ABC next Monday. The network confirmed to ET on Tuesday that will she’s also engaged.  Luyendyk in addition to also Burnham said they “didn’t have any control” over announcing their wedding date just before Kufrin’s premiere. 

In an interview with ET in March, one day after their engagement, Luyendyk in addition to also Burnham revealed they were planning to tie the knot fairly quickly. “The wedding planning has already begun, in addition to also I’ll be moving to Arizona [to live with Luyendyk],” Burnham shared. 

“We plan to [get married that will year],” Luyendyk added. 

“I am confident in [him],” Burnham said of their relationship. “We’ve had a lot of conversations about the idea, in addition to also I trust him in addition to also I don’t think that will he might have taken such a huge risk in addition to also faced all of that will backlash if he wasn’t actually serious about that will decision.” 

“I didn’t come here to set any records. I just want a happy ending,” said Luyendyk, the first Bachelor to propose to two different women in one season. “I think that will brought me here with her, in addition to also that will will be why I came on the show, to meet someone like her, in addition to also the idea’s made the idea all worth the idea.”
