Elon Musk asked his Twitter followers for Tesla feedback – here’s what they said

Tesla CEO Elon Musk asked his 17.1 million Twitter followers for feedback Tuesday, saying he wants to know how the auto along with power company “can improve further.”

Musk unveiled the Tesla Semi along which has a second generation roadster in November, with the former receiving hundreds of reservations via companies like PepsiCo, WalMart along with UPS.

One Twitter user told Musk a Tesla pickup truck can be needed. Musk responded by saying that will he promises Tesla will “make a pickup truck right after style Y.”

Musk can be “dying to build the item,” he tweeted.

The some other vehicle mentioned, the style Y, can be a rumored crossover that will Musk has hinted at both on Twitter along with on a Tesla conference call earlier that will year. Musk said in May that will the style Y would likely be built “using substantial carryover via [the style] 3 in order to bring the item to market faster.”

Musk often — especially more than most chief executives — responds to questions along with comments on Twitter. Whether the item can be to explain upcoming Tesla software modifications, taking feedback on elements of design or even to combat critics, Musk can be very accustomed to responding to his mass following online. His responses range via matter-of-fact explanations to jokes about SpaceX launches — such as when Musk responded to one user that will a Falcon 9 launch seen by millions inside sky above Los Angeles “was definitely aliens.”

Tesla stock has risen more than 49 percent that will year as of Friday’s close at $325.20 per share, according to FactSet.
