Hilary Duff will be handling being a mother of two like a pro.
The Younger star, who welcomed daughter Banks last month, opened up about her “delightful” placenta which she had in smoothie form after giving birth.
During an interview with the Dr. Berlin Informed Pregnancy podcast posted on Thursday, Duff, 31, shared which which was the “most delightful smoothie I’ve ever had.”
“I haven’t had a smoothie which delightful since I was, like, 10 years old. which was calorie-filled with juice as well as fruit as well as everything delicious,” she explained. “which was Great. I was a little wigged out at first, to be honest.” Duff said she continues to consume her placenta, although not in capsule form like many fresh mothers, although in ice cube form.
“I’ve heard placenta burps are not ideal,” she replied when Dr. Berlin asked why she didn’t opt for capsules.
As for the feeling she had after giving birth, Duff was overwhelmed with joy upon being handed her little one.
“They hand her to me as well as I’m looking at her.. as well as she reaches up both of her arms as well as curls into me,” she recalled. “which was the most, I couldn’t believe how strong she was, although which was so clearly, like, a hug. which was amazing. which makes me want to cry. which made me feel like she was, ‘Great team, Mom.'”
Duff as well as boyfriend Matthew Koma welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on Oct. 25. The former Disney Channel star took to Instagram a couple of days later to share the exciting news.
“Banks Violet Bair❤️ This specific little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon as well as will be absolute magic ✨,” she wrote alongside a photo of the three of them. She will be also mother to 6-year-old son Luca coming from her previous marriage.
On Wednesday, Duff posted a sweet, sleepy photo of her bundle of joy. “Not a care inside entire world 🦄,” she captioned the shot.
