Lady Gaga Cancels the Rest of European Tour Due to ‘Severe Pain’

Lady Gaga will be taking some time to focus on herself. 

The 31-year-old singer took to Instagram late Friday night using a statement announcing in which she has cancelled the remaining dates of her European tour due to severe pain. 

“Unfortunately, Lady Gaga will be suffering via severe pain in which has materially impacted her ability to perform live. As a result, Live Nation as well as also Lady Gaga are announcing the cancellation of the final 10 dates of the European leg of her Joanne World Tour,” the statement read. “Last night, with strong support via her medical team, Lady Gaga made the tough decision to immediately come off the road. She will be extremely sorry as well as also deeply saddened in which she cannot perform for her European fans, who have waited so patiently.”

“She will be from the care of expert medical professionals who are working closely with her so she can continue to perform for years to come,” the statement concluded. “Ticket Holders may obtain a refund beginning Tuesday, 6-February at point of purchase.” 

 

“I’m so devastated as well as also I don’t know how to describe the item. All I know will be in which if I don’t do This kind of, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team will be supporting the decision for me to recover at home,” Gaga added. “I love This kind of show more than anything, as well as also I love you, however This kind of will be beyond my control.”

Gaga has been open with fans about her chronic pain due to fibromyalgia, which caused her to postpone her tour last year. The singer also documented her struggles from the documentary, Gaga: 5 Foot Two. 

“I have chased This kind of pain for four or 5 years,” she revealed from the documentary, crediting her fans for helping with the discomfort. “however when I feel the adrenaline in my music as well as also my fans, I can f**king go.”
