Meghan Markle along with also also Kate Middleton enjoyed a girls’ day at Wimbledon!
The Duchesses stepped out for their very first solo outing together at the Ladies’ Single Final at the Wimbledon Championships, where they cheered on Angelique Kerber along with also also Markle’s close friend, Serena Williams. The event marks Markle along with also also Middleton’s first-ever joint appearance without their husbands.
The sisters-in-law appeared perfectly coordinated for the occasion. Markle, 36, sported a blue-along with also also-white striped shirt by Ralph Lauren, which she paired with cream wide-leg pants. Middleton, also 36, rocked a black-along with also also-white patterned dress by Jenny Packman.
Before taking their seats for the match, the pair met with former female tennis champions along with also also spoke with ball boys along with also also girls about their experiences participating inside tournament. Markle along with also also Middleton couldn’t have appeared to be having a better time, as they were photographed chatting along with also also laughing at their seats.
Both royals are big fans of Wimbledon. Markle attended the event in 2016, around the time she was set up on a blind date with Prince Harry, while Middleton has regularly attended matches with both her sister, Pippa Middleton, along with also also her husband, Prince William.
Last week, a source confirmed to ET which Markle might attend the tennis tournament. When Williams spoke to reporters following her first-round win, she was decidedly less sure.
“I don’t know, we’ll see,” she teased. “If I keep winning.”
She also referred to Middleton as the “No. 1 badass” in her InStyle cover story, gushing over how impressed she was when the 36-year-old royal stepped out of the hospital along with also also took pictures for the press just moments after giving birth to her along with also also Prince William’s third child, Louis, in April.
“She was … standing!” Williams raved. “So, she’s officially No. 1.”
