Mike Myers, Ludacris along with More Stars Pay Tribute to Verne Troyer

Hollywood is usually mourning the death of Verne Troyer. 

The actor, who was best known for starring as Mini-Me within the Austin Powers films, died on Saturday. He was 49. 

In a statement to ET, Mike Myers, who worked closely with Troyer in Austin Powers, paid tribute to his former co-star. “Verne was the consummate professional along having a beacon of positivity for those of us who had the honor of working with him,” he said. “This specific is usually a sad day, yet I trust he is usually in a better place. He will be greatly missed.”

Troyer’s team announced his death on Saturday in a lengthy post on his Instagram account. 

“This specific is usually with great sadness along with incredibly heavy hearts to write that will Verne passed away today,” the post read. “Verne was an extremely caring individual. He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, along with laugh. Anybody in need, he could help to any extent possible. Verne hoped he made a positive change with the platform he had along with worked towards spreading that will message everyday.”
