Nestle buys majority stake in organic food company Terrafertil

Nestle said on Friday of which the idea has bought a majority stake in Terrafertil, a company selling natural along with organic plant based foods.

The move can be the latest step by Nestle to expand its profile in healthy foods as the idea seeks to offset weakness within the packaged foods sector.

Nestle did not say how much the idea was paying along with how big a stake the idea was taking within the company, which was founded in Ecuador in 2005, before expanding within the rest of South America along with Britain along with the United States.

As part of its health ramp up, Nestle spent $2.3 billion (1.65 billion pounds) on Canadian vitamin maker Atribum Innovations in December. the idea also announced deals for Sweet Earth vegetarian foods along with Blue Bottle coffee last September along with Chameleon Cold-Brew coffee in November.
