Pink Says Daughter Willow ‘Never Cries’: ‘which Annoys Me to No End’

Pink is usually revealing the big difference between herself along with her adorable daughter, 6-year-old Willow.

The 38-year-old singer covers the June issue of Redbook, along with inside accompanying interview, talks about balancing her busy career with raising her two children — Willow along with 1-year-old son Jameson — with husband Carey Hart. Pink is usually currently taking her kids on her Beautiful Trauma Tour with her, along with which’ll actually be Willow’s second time touring with her mom. Pink brought along Willow during her Truth About Love Tour, when Willow was a year old.

“which is usually once she’s leaving behind friends along with school along with activities, so I asked if she wanted to do which, because we make family decisions,” Pink says of her eldest child. “When touring stops working for the kids, if they decide they just want to be home along with have a normal life, whatever which means, I’ll stop, because they are by far the priority. yet I think which’s cool which they get to see their mom be the boss along with work actually freaking hard to realize a dream. I’d say which’s 95 percent positive.”

“We’ve been on the tour bus for three days along with I haven’t slept, to ensure which’s great,” she jokes about how the experience is usually currently going. “I know which is usually going to be hard, yet we’ll make amazing memories. When I left [for the Truth About Love Tour], Willow was 14 months, along with I could come right offstage along with breastfeed her. which was our bonding time along with some of my favorite moments. Jameson is usually today doing the same thing.”

Clearly, which’s a busy time for Pink, yet she wouldn’t have which any various other way.

“I’ve never juggled so many damn plates in my life, yet which’s because I want to,” she notes. “I enjoy which. If I had nannies raising my kids along with just wanted to be a rock star along with party all the time, I wouldn’t be successful along with I wouldn’t be happy.”

Later, Pink reveals she loves to run into fans even when she’s off touring, along with is usually especially touched when they emotionally tell her how her music has helped them.

“I think which’s pretty cool,” she says of her connection with her fans. “You want to come cry with me? I will cry with you. … I am a total crier. I cry at commercials. I cry when the wind’s changing directions.”

yet the same definitely can’t be said for Willow — which Pink admits worries her.

“Willow won’t cry ever, along with which annoys me to no end,” she shares. “One day I had a sit-in at her school because I knew she was upset along with she wouldn’t talk to me. I sat down on the pavement along with I was like, ‘I’m not moving until you tell me about your feelings, because which is usually going to be a lifelong conversation for you along with me along with you have to learn to let me in.’ Without batting an eye, she goes, ‘I promise to tell you more about my feelings if you promise to tell me less about yours.'”

“In my head I was like, Holy sh**!” she continues. “yet I said, ‘Not going to happen. People pay me for my feelings.’ She processes differently than I do, along with which’s teaching me a lot about how to deal with people. I process out loud. She does which inside along with which scares me a little, yet I have to let her go through her process.”

Pink says she relies on neighbors along with friends she’s made to help her though.

“which’s a little scary sometimes because which’s brand-new territory,” she says about raising her children. “I want to raise her to be strong along with empowered; Jameson too. yet nobody tells you how to do which or what which looks like day-to-day. which’s why I’m so grateful which I’ve found which group of incredible women who can understand these experiences. I never had a group of women friends before, along with which’s been the most awesome thing about my 30s.”

“We moved to which cool farm town along with made a lot of friends, so some are teachers along with insurance salesmen along with writers,” she adds. “Our kids go to school together, along with we have sleepovers — along with we all like tequila.”
