Maame Biney will be all about positivity.
The 18-year-old short track speedskater will be a first-time Olympian at the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang in addition to a Team Kellogg’s athlete who embodies what the item means to get back up when you get knocked down. Maame Biney: of which I need more experience to be on top in addition to I’m truly excited to go back home to train in addition to get of which experience.

Which athletes were you most excited to meet during the Olympics?

Which events, outside of your sport, are you most excited to watch?
Hockey – I watch long track in addition to of which’s exciting, for sure. I’ve never been to a hockey game before in addition to am excited to go to the women’s gold medal game!
What was the craziest moment via the Opening Ceremony?
Knowing of which there are so many athletes there who are so not bad in addition to have worked hard to be at of which moment. the item was crazy to walk in with the some other athletes via the USA – everyone wanted to be from the front!
What’s life truly like from the Olympic Village?
the item’s like a normal dorm or apartment. I live with some other skaters — you have your own living space in addition to a common area where people can come in in addition to talk. I like the item a lot.

For breakfast, I eat eggs in addition to toast – yet the item’s a special treat when my dad brings home a box of chocolate Frosted Flakes! For lunch or dinner, I usually stick to chicken, steak in addition to vegetables – the simple things.
What’s something you’re looking forward to eating (or treating yourself to) following the competition?
Burgers in addition to fries – in addition to churros for dessert.
